Those of you who already know me understand how deep my appreciation and love are for San Francisco’s neighborhood bakery, Tartine. Tartine is hands down, the best bakery I have ever visited. Tartine might actually be my favorite place on earth other than the beach and home. If I miss my favorite Tartine treats, I do my best to recreate them with my copy of the Tartine cookbook. At the bakery, my go-to treats are almond croissants. I love, love, love the flavor of  almonds. There is a recipe for almond croissants in the cookbook, but it is over five pages long.
